The project build system & compiler support
This system will have to provide intensive support for the build systems of the different compilers. For version 1 this will have to completely support the GNU build system under linux as well as under Cygwin (MSW). It also needs to be thread safe to support compilation under a different thread. It should also store templates for makefiles / buildscripts for the different compilers.
